Reading and watching
You can browse public pages without creating a community profile. Official YouTube and Vimeo players and outbound links are operated by their respective providers and follow their policies. Our optional audience measurement has a separate preference control. Choosing email updates is independent of measurement consent.
Sign-in, reviews, and community
ChatGPT sign-in supplies this site with a site-specific account identifier and email. Community features use the private identifier to associate posts and permissions with your account. You choose a public display name. Public profiles, approved topics and replies, film comments and ratings, and their dates are visible to visitors; your email and private identity identifier are not part of public community responses. Do not put personal contact details or private material into public content.
Community and film-review records are stored in the site database. Moderators can review pending contributions and reports. Reports are private to moderation. Following a discussion creates in-site notifications; it does not opt you into email marketing.
Film-update emails
We collect your submitted email address, selected categories, explicit consent wording and version, signup source, and consent and unsubscribe dates. Choices are new-film discoveries and future licensed rental releases. We use these records for the updates you request and to honor opt-outs. We do not publish subscriber addresses or sell this list. Only authorized owners can view or export it.
Forms use explicit single opt-in; an anonymous email submission does not verify ownership of the address. A daily hashed network-address key helps limit signup abuse. Raw network addresses are not stored in the email signup database. Rate-limit keys are cleared after two days when later signups are processed. Hosting and video services may maintain their own operational logs.
Sign in with ChatGPT using the matching email to change preferences, or use the private unsubscribe link included in any film-update email we send. Unsubscribe stops both categories and stores suppression status so the address is not re-enrolled through an anonymous repeat request. Community membership, posting, and rental-interest discussions never subscribe you automatically. No paid rentals are available at this time.
Control and retention
You may edit or remove your own film reviews on their film pages. Your community profile offers controls to remove your profile and posts, bio, likes, and follow subscriptions. Removed public content and reports can remain privately where needed for moderation and operational recovery; routine backups may persist until they expire. Minimum account identifiers may be retained to enforce an existing moderation restriction. We retain the minimum unsubscribe record needed to honor your opt-out. To request access, correction, or removal of other account or subscription data, use the contact link on our About page. Do not send sensitive documents.
