A good place to talk about films

Be curious. Be constructive.

Everyone may read. Sign in with ChatGPT and choose a public community name to contribute. These guidelines apply to topics, replies, showcase links, profiles, and likes.

Talk about the work. Respect the person.

Share films responsibly.

Use the official public YouTube or Vimeo link field for your own finished-film showcase. Links are reviewed and open on their original service. We do not download or rehost submitted videos. A community post is a member contribution; publication does not verify every claim, establish a partnership, approve a catalog listing, or grant rental rights.

For catalog review, submit your completed film separately. To connect a community account to a documented creator profile, use the creator-claim proof process. Only moderators can attach that connection after verification.

First contributions need review.

New members' topics and replies, all edits, and every new showcase video link wait for moderation. After an approved contribution, future plain-text contributions can appear directly. Moderators can hide content, lock discussions, pause posting access, and restore access. Posting limits are 10 new topics and 50 replies per day, with at least 15 seconds between contributions. Moderation timing is not guaranteed.

Use Report on a discussion or reply to explain a concern privately to moderators. Reports are not displayed publicly. For appeals, impersonation, rights concerns, or a public-name change, use the contact link on our About page; include the public discussion URL and no sensitive documents. Film ratings and comments retain their existing review process.

Your public profile and private account.

Your chosen public name, optional bio, approved contributions, dates, and moderator-verified creator connection are visible to everyone. Your ChatGPT email and private identity identifier are never included in public community responses. A site-specific private identifier connects your account to your posts. Community records are stored in this site's database. Member-profile pages are excluded from search indexing; public discussions may be indexed.

Likes are counted without publishing a list of who liked a topic. Following a discussion creates in-site reply notifications on your profile. It does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Film-update email subscriptions require a separate, explicit opt-in.

You control your contribution.

You retain rights to what you submit and permit Cinema Marketplace to display and moderate it in this community. You can edit or remove your own posts. Edits return to review. Removing a topic hides its conversation publicly. Your profile page offers a control to remove your community profile and posts, bio, likes, and notification subscriptions. Other members' replies to removed discussions may remain privately for moderation; routine infrastructure backups can persist until they expire. Film-page ratings and comments are separate and can be removed on their film pages.

We do not invent members, ratings, replies, likes, or activity counts. Launch prompts from Cinema Marketplace are marked Editorial starter. Community access is free; paid film rentals are in development.

Audience measurement preferences

We measure visits and film playback using random browser and session identifiers. Our measurement records contain no IP addresses, account details, or external browsing history. Records expire after 90 days. Your browser identifier resets after 30 days.
