Build a rights-aware marketplace with us

Founding Filmmakers.

For filmmakers with completed work who want to reach viewers and be considered for future licensed rental pilots. Submit your film, document your authority, and tell us your release goals.

Who this is for

A finished film and a verifiable creator.

The founding pathway is for creators or authorized teams who can discuss the work, document its production and rights, and give practical feedback on future distribution terms.

Good fit

Ready to apply

  • A complete or review-ready AI-generated or meaningfully AI-assisted film
  • An official creator, studio, festival, distributor source, or secure screener
  • Clear human credits, AI-use disclosure, and applicant authority
  • A rights record suitable for commercial preparation
  • Specific feedback or goals for rentals, purchases, or licensing
Start elsewhere

Use the earlier funnel step

  • No finished film or substantive chapter yet
  • An unofficial repost, teaser, ad, compilation, or isolated generated clip
  • Unclear creator attribution or applicant authority
  • Unresolved music, asset, voice, likeness, collaborator, or tool-term rights
  • A request for guaranteed placement, income, or automatic paid distribution

A clear exchange

What participation can offer—and what it cannot.

Possible value

Early creator context

  • A documented film and creator profile if editorially accepted
  • A direct channel for structured marketplace feedback
  • Early consideration for a future rights-verified pilot
  • A chance to surface pricing, reporting, payout, and control needs
Not promised

No automatic commercial outcome

  • No guaranteed acceptance, placement, traffic, sales, or revenue
  • No current paid checkout or creator-payout system
  • No published final revenue split or launch date
  • No ownership transfer, exclusivity, or commercial grant through application

Before any paid pilot

Creators must see the full economic picture.

No film becomes paid inventory because it has a profile or founding application. A future pilot requires fresh rights verification, creator opt-in, and written terms.

Price and control

Who proposes or approves the rental or purchase price, discounting rules, availability, territories, windows, and withdrawal process.

Share and deductions

The platform share and the exact treatment of payment fees, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, currency conversion, or other permitted deductions.

Statements and payout

Reporting detail, timing, currency, minimum threshold, payment method, record retention, and a process for questions or disputes.

Rights and term

The granted formats, territory, duration, exclusivity, promotional permissions, takedown conditions, termination, and post-termination access.

What happens next

Application is the start of a review.

  1. 01

    Editorial record

We confirm that the film, official source, credits, and AI involvement are specific enough to evaluate.

  2. 02

    Applicant authority

We may ask for a film-domain email, official profile, studio contact, rights-holder introduction, or other reasonable proof.

  3. 03

    Readiness discussion

We identify unresolved rights, delivery, pricing, territory, reporting, or distribution questions without assuming acceptance.

  4. 04

    Separate decision

Editorial listing, founding participation, and any future paid pilot remain distinct decisions with distinct permissions.

Founding pathway questions

Know the boundary before applying.

Do I need a published Cinema Marketplace profile first?

Not necessarily, but you need a finished or review-ready film from an official source. If the film has not been submitted, complete the film submission first so the editorial and founding reviews share one accurate release package.

Does founding status guarantee marketplace distribution?

No. It does not guarantee acceptance, paid distribution, a launch date, placement, traffic, sales, revenue, or a particular commercial agreement.

Will I be charged to apply?

No. The application and current editorial review are free. Any future optional marketplace terms would be presented separately before participation.

Do I transfer ownership or exclusivity?

No. Applying does not transfer ownership, copyright, exclusivity, or paid distribution rights. Any future grant must be specific and documented in a separate agreement.

What does Cinema Marketplace want from founding creators?

Useful feedback on submission, verification, pricing controls, revenue statements, release windows, rights evidence, playback, refunds, takedowns, and the information filmmakers need before opting in.

Can a team or studio apply?

Yes. The applicant should identify the person applying, their role, the creator or team, and the authority they have to discuss the film and its commercial goals.

Not ready for the founding step?

The creator pathway still starts with a strong film record.

Submit a finished film for free editorial review, correct an existing profile, or finish the release package before returning to this application.
